We were busy in Miss Campion & Ms. Burcheal's class during Science Week.
We engaged in a STEM activity which involved coming up with a plan, team work and problem solving.
Miss Campion gave us an A4 page, a scissors, a ruler, a pencil and glue and that was it. Using this one A4 page, we had to make the longest paper chain that we could make! Take a look at the photos below. We had lots of fun!
'First Tadhg and I got an A4 page and we got straight into it. Tadhg and I were doing small ones but after a while we started cutting big ones and we got way bigger than the small ones. When we were cutting near the end we had gotten way better than earlier. Then we were doing some skinny paper which made it easier for us to make it longer but we still got 5’th in the class but we still tried our best.'

'We did a STEM activity in Miss Campion’s class. We made long ropes and I partnered up alongside Aldrin and won! Our strategy: -1 we made our paper rope by cutting slim bits of paper to make more out of it -2 we glued it in in a big circle to make it bigger so it would be the winner. We did this during science week!'
