Congratulations to our 6th class Graduates
Congratulations to Sarah, Holly, Emily, Amelie and Adam who attained 100% attendance for the school year. An amazing achievement!
2023
As part of the Free Schoolbooks Scheme announced by the Government in March, all pupils will start the new school year with a full set of schoolbooks, workbooks and copies provided for them. The School Journal will also be provided free of charge in September. Details of resource fee for 2023/2024 are listed below.
A link for online payment of resources via Aladdin will be made available shortly. Our preferred method of payment is using Aladdin, alternatively this fee can be paid directly to the school office. Required Stationery and Accessories (3rd to 6th Class) Pupils will need the following items A set of colouring pencils 3 x Pritt Sticks A4 plastic wallet Pack of plastic covers Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener and Ruler Refill Pad Set of white board markers (NOT Permanent Markers) Storage basket (recommended size 30cm x 40 cm) Recorder available for purchase from school in September at a cost of €12.00 Sixth class pupils will need a ring binder folder

Our Annual Halloween Sponsored Walk
Halloween in Room 4
Our Annual Sponsored walk took place on 22nd October. The children all got dressed up in Halloween outfits and walked to St Catherine’s Park. There was a disco in the school hall afterwards with refreshments given to all children. Many thanks to the parents association for organising the fundraiser.

Congratulations to our pupils who won the Under 12s hurling final in Hawkfield on Sunday with Confey GAA. We are so proud of them all.
Our Student Council showing all the Team Hope shoeboxes which our pupils made. Additional boxes were completed online by many pupils!
At the recent IPB Pride of Place awards,the Neurofibromatosis Association (now called Adults and Children with Tumours) mascot Patrick, the giraffe was part of the Maynooth Access Group Creativity Team who won first place in all the 32 counties. Patrick has been a valued member of our school community since he joined us following fundraising our pupils did for this worthy cause last school year. He is currently a member of 5th class Room 1.

Our 5th and 6ths had a visit recently from Irish and European 400m champion David Gillick, the Marathon Kids Ambassador.

Every year our 5th classes are asked to design a cover for the following year's new school journal. The entries this year were of such a high standard! Congratulations to Aksha and Livia whose wonderful designs have been chosen for the cover of next year's school journal.

Congratulations to Aaron from 6th class who was recently awarded a Player of the Year trophy by his club MUBarnhall.
Many congratulations to our 6th class girls 7-a-side soccer team who recently won the Leixlip schools soccer tournament held at Leixlip Amenity Centre.
Well done to Róisín, Declan, Jamie and Aksha who were awarded the Spirit of the Tournament awards in our recent 5th class blitz in Kilcloon against Oldcastle NS.
Girls soccer tournament winners 2024 Our girls team were victorious in a soccer blitz tournament which was held in the amenities centre Leixilp. The girls performed brilliantly in the final with the final score 1-0. The boys and girls had a great day out and the boys team just missed out on the final by losing in a penalty shootout.
Congratulations to Dima who recently won silver in the U-12s Judo competition in Poland.
